Linda Mary Montano
Bio
Linda Mary Montano (b. 1942) lives and works in Saugerties, NY. She received a BA in Sculpture from the College of New Rochelle, an MA in sculpture from Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy, and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Montano’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art (New York, NY), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles, CA), and the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley, CA). Montano taught performance at the University of Texas at Austin for seven years and continues to teach performance art via Zoom.
